As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you drive the hotel’s commercial success through strategic leadership, smart revenue generation, and impactful market positioning. You lead the sales and marketing function end to end, ensuring the hotel achieves strong revenue performance while maintaining compliance with Golden Tulip brand standards for a franchised property.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and brand visibility.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team through clear goals, coaching, and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel partners, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer insights to identify opportunities and adjust commercial strategies.
• Oversee the development of effective marketing content, digital campaigns, advertising, and promotional materials.
• Work closely with revenue management to optimize pricing, distribution, and channel mix for maximum yield.
• Review and interpret sales and marketing performance metrics and provide regular reporting to ownership and senior leadership.
• Explore and develop new business segments, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, strengthening its presence in the market.
• Negotiate and finalize client agreements, ensuring revenue maximization and long-term partnerships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing developments, and commercial best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of promotional campaigns and packages.
• Uphold Golden Tulip brand standards and contribute to maintaining a strong, competitive market position.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental best practices across sales and marketing activities.
• Ensure full adherence to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
